After installing a printer from Printix, I receive a notification that the "Printer Status is not available at this time" even though the print job is successful.   

The notification is shown below

To prevent this dialog box, disable notifications in the printer settings.   

Step 1.  Go to Printers & Scanners and locate printer you wish to make changes to

Step 2.  Select the printer and choose Manage

Step 3.  Click Printing preferences go to advanced, then Notification and disable all notifications

Note: The above settings are for a Xerox printer and there may be different depending on the driver.  After making the changes the pop up should be suppressed.  If you still have an issue, contact the IT helpdesk for assistance.
