Migrating your content and data from your current iPhone to a new iPhone is easy. The first step is to backup all of your current iPhone apps and data, then once you are certain that all apps and data are backed up, you can begin to set up your new iPhone.
- Backing up your iPhone*
- Go to Settings, then click Apple ID, then click iCloud
- Under iCloud, click iCloud Backup
- Ensure iCloud Backup is turned on and if so, notice when the last successful backup occurred. If it's been more than 24 hours, click Back Up Now
- Here is the current Apple Support article on setting up a new iPhone
- When you're ready to turn in your old device, please ensure you have completely erased it and set it back to factory
* Backing up photos and videos using iCloud is not recommended unless you have purchased a larger, personal iCloud storage account. VCS does not reimburse for costs related to iCloud backup. Instead, we recommend you use the no-cost Google Photos app to backup all of your photos and video using your @warriorlife.net Google Workspace account.
