Restart Apple TV if you are unable to connect via AirPlay

Before you restart your Apple TV...

• First, revisit these steps for how to use Apple TV to project a device.

How to restart - not reset - your Apple TV 

1. Turn on the projector and display the Apple TV home screen

2. Use the Apple TV remote to open the Settings App (gear icon)

3. Select System from the settings menu

4. Select Restart (be careful not to select reset)

5. Wait a moment or two for the Apple TV to restart fully and then you can use it

Another way to restart - not reset - your Apple TV

1. Point the Apple TV remote towards the Apple TV

2. Depending on the type of remote you have, hold down the two buttons indicated in the image below together for five seconds

3. Release the buttons and your Apple TV will restart
