What to do if a streaming video plays audio but the video is blacked out Follow

If you are wirelessly streaming a video via Apple TV, particularly from a movie streaming platform like Swank, the video may play audio but the visual may be blacked out.

You can correct the video display by turning off "Graphics Acceleration" in the Chrome browser settings:

  1. Copy and paste this link in your browser --> chrome://settings/?search=graphics+acceleration
  2. Switch off graphics acceleration
  3. Relaunch Chrome
  4. Play video

When you're done playing the movie, please turn it back on.

You can correct the video display by using "AirPlay" instead of "Screen Mirroring":

1. Click the share button on the video player.

2. Choose your Apple TV in your room.
