VCS is transitioning to a new mobile device management (MDM) system for all of our Macs, iPads, and Apple TVs. We are upgrading from Jamf School to Jamf Pro, which provides a more robust and customizable platform for managing our Apple devices. To ensure a smooth transition, we will be using a migration tool that requires action on your part. This process will take about 15 minutes to complete.

You will receive a notification on your screen indicating that the migration process is beginning
Next, you will have the option to Start now, or you may defer the migration to another time. However, you can only defer it 3 times
Once you select Start Now, the next screen you will see is that the preparation has been completed
Then it will move to the next step which is removing the old Jamf profile
Once that has been completed, it will begin with installing the new Jamf profile
Here you will receive instructions on what to do next

After you select okay, the next pop up will blur out the rest of your screen. You will then select Enroll

A pop up will then appear asking you to input your computer password

Once that is done you will see an Enrollment Complete screen, from there you will select Quit

That pop up will go away and your screen will no longer be blurred. The next screen will say finishing up

This portion could take a few minutes. Don’t worry, just let it finish. Once completed you will click on the OK button
