To test Zoom video and audio on your laptop:

• Note: If you plan to use a microphone and/or camera that are not built-in to your laptop, plug in/connect those first. You may need to change your Video and/or Audio input in the settings below.

1. Open Zoom click the Settings icon (gear) in the upper right.

2. Click Video & effects from the left menu and confirm you can see yourself in the preview.

3. Click Audio from the left menu and click the Test microphone button. Speak for a moment and listen for playback.
