Software Center is the means by which IT allows users to access software and services required to perform end-of-year maintenance. This is also the way users can download and install VCS-approved software and perform updates to existing software.

Software Center is installed on every teacher and staff Windows computer.  To open software center:

• Click on the start menu
• In the search field, type in "software"
• Click on Software Center at the top

Alternatively, you may browse through the start menu:

• Click on the start menu > All Programs > Microsoft System Center 2012 > Software Center
