How Do I Submit a Feature Request?
All VCS faculty and staff can submit a feature (or service) request using the Feature Request category in our Community Forum!
Simply Follow this link and click the blue "New post" button to create a post. It will be reviewed by IT staff.
Although every idea will be considered, you may not receive a comment. If others like your feature request, they are welcome to upvote your suggestion. The more upvotes, the better!
If you'd prefer to have a conversation or brainstorming session, email us instead of using this forum.
Before submitting a feature request, please ensure that your request meets the following criteria:
- Is it a feature or service with which IT can assist or has responsibility to manage?
- Does it solve an existing problem?
- Does the problem/solution affect a fair number of people?
IT staff will evaluate your suggestion on a number of criteria such as:
- Does the solution have a likelihood of causing other problems?
- Is the solution likely doable from a budget or time perspective?
- Is there another solution currently in place that will do the same or similar?
